I'm a big girl now! I found Amelia's bonnet she wore when she was a baby and realized that it still fit. So I thought it would be so cute to put it on her. But her mind is obviously bigger than her body! She didn't want to have anything to do with it. Her face looks a little strange because she was pulling and tugging to get that thing off! While America is remembering 9/11, we are celebrating Amelia's 2nd birthday. I remember when we were going through multiple tests to find out why she wasn't gaining weight. I realized the boys were watching way too much TLC when one of them came into ask me if I thought Amelia was going to be a premordial dwarf (sp?)! She still weighs the same as she did on her 1 year birthday, but she is growing taller and developmentally right with her age group. We love her so much and she has brought complete happiness to our lives. She is my little shadow everywhere and loves to use wipies to clean the house with me. She loves to dance and sing, read books, color and play hide and seek. Happy Birthday Amelia!
When Wyett was little, he wanted to know how long I have been married. I told him, "it is easy to figure out....just add one year to your age!" He replied, "Wow! That is easy...." then turned to Nathan, "How long have you been married?" It has been a long time since then and luckily everyone is finally figuring out how many years it has been! This year we decided to relive our early dating years. My mom watched the kids for us and we went to Adventure Park for a skeeball and air hockey competition! Of course I still have it in me....and won most of the matches. It was a lot of fun. We played deal or no deal and got the million dollar briefcase! 1000 tickets later....we tried to find a prize, but they were all out of whoopie cushions and dissappearing ink! When I look at that picture of us, I can see all of the hopes and dreams and anticipation of the life we would have together. Happy 16 + 1 Anniversary!
